Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Aavya Living ("Aavya Living", "we", "our", or "us"). This Cancellation Policy explains the terms governing the cancellation of orders placed through the Aavya Living Platform.

Aavya Living is a technology-enabled multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace operating on a dropshipping business model. Products listed on the Platform are sold, processed, packed, and fulfilled directly by independent sellers. Aavya Living facilitates the marketplace by providing order management, payment facilitation, customer support, and dispute resolution.

By placing an order on the Platform, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.

 

 

1. Partial Advance Payment Orders

Certain products on Aavya Living require a partial advance payment to confirm the order.

The applicable advance amount will be displayed on the product page and during checkout before the order is placed.

The remaining balance amount shall be payable at the time of delivery through the payment methods accepted by the delivery partner or seller.

 

 

2. Cancellation Before Seller Confirmation

Customers may request cancellation of an order before the respective seller accepts and confirms the order.

If the cancellation request is approved before the seller begins processing the order, the advance payment, if any, will be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy.

 

 

3. Cancellation After Seller Confirmation

Once the seller has accepted the order and commenced procurement, preparation, packaging, customization (if applicable), or dispatch, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

As sellers may incur costs after order confirmation, the advance amount paid may become non-refundable, unless otherwise required under applicable law or approved by the seller and Aavya Living.

 

 

4. Cancellation After Dispatch

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched by the seller or logistics partner.

If the delivered product is damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise eligible, customers may request a return, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.

 

 

5. Balance Payment at Delivery

For orders placed under the Partial Advance Payment model, the remaining balance must be paid at the time of delivery using any payment method accepted by the delivery partner or seller, including:

  • Cash

  • UPI

  • Google Pay

  • PhonePe

  • Paytm

  • Other supported digital payment methods

Failure to pay the balance amount at delivery may result in cancellation of the order and forfeiture of the advance payment, where applicable.

 

 

6. Refusal to Accept Delivery

If a customer:

  • Refuses to accept delivery without a valid reason,

  • Provides an incorrect or incomplete delivery address,

  • Remains unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts,

  • Fails to pay the remaining balance at the time of delivery, or

  • Repeatedly places orders without completing the purchase,

Aavya Living and/or the respective seller reserve the right to:

  • Cancel the order.

  • Forfeit the advance payment, where applicable.

  • Restrict Partial Advance Payment or Cash on Delivery facilities for future orders.

  • Suspend or terminate the customer's account in cases of repeated misuse or fraudulent activity.

 

 

7. Cancellation by Aavya Living or the Seller

Aavya Living or the respective seller reserves the right to cancel any order under circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Product unavailable or out of stock.

  • Pricing or listing errors.

  • Payment verification failure.

  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

  • Duplicate or suspicious orders.

  • Delivery location not serviceable.

  • Violation of Platform policies or applicable laws.

  • Events beyond reasonable control (Force Majeure).

Where an order is cancelled after receipt of the advance payment, any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.

 

 

8. Non-Cancellable Products

Certain products may not be eligible for cancellation after seller confirmation, including but not limited to:

  • Customized or personalized products.

  • Made-to-order products.

  • Perishable goods.

  • Fresh food products.

  • Live plants and saplings after dispatch.

  • Products marked as "Non-Cancellable" on the product page.

These exceptions will be clearly communicated on the relevant product pages wherever applicable.

 

 

9. Fraudulent or Excessive Cancellations

To protect sellers and maintain a fair marketplace, Aavya Living reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against accounts involved in:

  • Repeated order cancellations.

  • Abuse of the Partial Advance Payment facility.

  • Refusal to accept deliveries without valid reasons.

  • Fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse.

  • Misuse of promotional offers or discounts.

Appropriate actions may include:

  • Warning notices.

  • Temporary account suspension.

  • Permanent account termination.

  • Restriction of payment methods.

  • Legal action where required.

 

 

10. Force Majeure

Neither Aavya Living nor the respective seller shall be liable for cancellation, delay, or failure to fulfil any order due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.

  • Floods.

  • Earthquakes.

  • Fires.

  • Pandemics.

  • Government restrictions.

  • Civil unrest.

  • Transportation disruptions.

  • Internet or communication failures.

  • Other unforeseen events.

 

 

11. Changes to this Cancellation Policy

Aavya Living reserves the right to amend or update this Cancellation Policy at any time.

The latest version will be published on the Platform with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Cancellation Policy.
