🌿 Using Selaginella uncinata in Terrariums

1. Choose the right terrarium

   • Best in a closed terrarium (glass jar with a lid) to keep humidity high.

   • Open terrariums dry out too quickly.

2. Layering the base

   • Bottom: Pebbles or small stones for drainage.

   • Middle: A thin layer of activated charcoal (keeps soil fresh).

   • Top: Moist, rich potting soil with peat or coco coir + perlite.

3. Planting Selaginella

   • Gently place it in the soil and pat down around roots.

   • Leave space for it to spread — it creeps like a soft green carpet.

4. Care inside terrarium

   • Keep in bright, indirect light (never direct sun, glass magnifies heat).

   • Mist lightly if condensation disappears from glass.
